Curiosities : The project was based on the film Edward Scissor Hands. Edward Scissor Hands is an eccentric character. The project was to design something that this character would collect and treasure. Therefore his ability to form shapes by cutting hedges and bushes etc. was used as a canvas that displayed his intriguing artistic nature. These shapes were of amazing composition. Its this factor that led to the design of a unique composition of animals, prehistoric and current; that was put together as a sculpture that may have inspired Edward Scissor Hands to nurture his artistic ability by cutting hedges and bushes into these unique forms and shapes.

The Ecology of the Unwanted : The project seeks to create awareness of the effects of environmental pollution and the devastating effects of Amnesia that have engulfed the communities of south-eastern China. The project proposes to create a number of pollution capturing and displaying devises that would float on the Hu river revealing the pollutants of the river, that was once used for aquacultures such as floating fish farms. These devices will act as live monuments that grow in size revealing the pollutants that have destroyed this local livelihood. The devices would be controlled and observed by an observatory tower that would also be a center for research and a gallery displaying the condition of amnesia and its profound impact on the livelihoods of the people of Guangzhou province and, in wider context, mankind.

The Spiritual Guild : The project proposes the migration of contemporary stone carving guilds of Jaipur, to Makrana, where white marble has been quarried for centuries creating a landscape of gigantic proportions. These craftsmen will inhabit self-built shafts that rise from the depths of the quarry attempting to link the liberated with the non-liberated along the cosmic axis. The stone carving workshops will be located along this axis, creating sacred ornaments, mini temples capable of provoking thoughts of liberation or moksha.
